Review by hotel critic
Stepping into the Knot Tokyo Shinjuku felt like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Tokyo, a blend of modern vibes and Japanese charm that instantly captivated my 'young senior' sensibilities. the vibrant atmosphere beckoned me into a world where time flows leisurely, reminiscent of the lesser-known side of Shinjuku. the hotel's seamless fusion of Japanese-bred ingredients, especially the sustainably bred Toman Beef grilled to perfection, showcased a culinary experience that transcended mere dining. Exploring the open spaces on the first and second floors, I found myself admiring not just the art on the walls but also the meticulous selection of furniture and fixtures that blended Japanese craftsmanship with vintage influences. the space allowed me to unwind, work, and savor delicious drinks, all while basking in the warm ambiance that surrounded me. The bakery, a bustling hub of activity, offered a delightful array of bread, including the classic shokupan and delicious croissants, providing the perfect accompaniment to my morning rituals. Breakfast at the TAPAS LOUNGE was a highlight, with a tempting selection and a cozy atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect day in Tokyo. As a solo traveler deeply rooted in the culinary world, the Knot Tokyo Shinjuku not only met but exceeded my expectations. From the attentive service to the convenient location near transport hubs, this boutique hotel flawlessly blended comfort, style, and a touch of Japanese hospitality, leaving me with a memorable experience that I would cherish for years to come.
